Hi there! My name is Gwen, or Gwenyth if we are being fancy, & I am a candid photographer in the KC Metro & in Park County, Colorado. I began this photography journey of mine in October of 2023. Why? Well...I was pregnant with my second kiddo & could feel me "losing" myself again (iykyk). I honestly do not know what exactly came over me, but I needed something to do that was "me" -- & I knew my sister-in-law had a camera. So, I texted her & asked her if I could borrow it for a while -- & here we are now!! (Thank you, Tylynn!!)
I describe my style of photography as naturally candid; I aim to capture both natural & genuine emotions & moments in my photographs, all the while working to create an easygoing experience during my shoots. I aim for my finished work to look & feel unposed, as my style is more go-with-the-flow, itty bitty details, grainy, film-like, documentary-ish photographs. I am thankful to be entrusted in documenting such intimate times in my clients' lives; I would be honored to document this chapter in life for you!
Outside of photographing people's lives, I am a mother to two on-Earth angels & a wife to my high school sweetheart. We have a zoo of rescue pets - two dogs, a beagle & a shepherd mix, & three cats, one of which has special needs. I love spending time with my family, thrifting, scouring Pinterest, being outdoors, fishing, playing video games, & crafting with whatever my current fixation is.
