Who Am I?!
Howdy! I'm Gwen (or Gwenyth if we're being fancy), & I am a candid photographer in the Kansas City Metro (or wherever the heck you need me to be!) I began this photography journey of mine in October of 2023. Why? Well...I was pregnant with my second kiddo & simply put, I needed something to do that was "me". I knew my sister-in-law had a camera, so I texted her & asked her if I could borrow it for a while -- & here we are now!! (Thank you, Tylynn!!) Just this summer, I upgraded my camera & went mirrorless - EEK!!
Fun facts about me: I am a bit of a hippie, I have a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in communication, I am obsessed with cinnamon rolls right now, & I am your type B photographer friend - the go-with-the-flow, calm-in-the-chaos, laugh-through-it-all kind of gal!!
My Vibe ☆
I describe my style of photography as naturally candid; I aim to capture genuine emotions & moments in my photographs, all the while working to create an easygoing experience during my shoots. I aim for my finished work to look & feel unposed, as my style is more go-with-the-flow, real, capturing the itty bitty details, & ensuring you are having a good time! In each of my sessions, I want you to feel like I am just an old friend with a fancy camera there to hang out & capture some memories for you. Need that hair out of your face? I got you! Need some self-love talk mid-pose? I got you!
