This is my signature session - a relaxed, 30-minute experience that covers it all! Couples, maternity, newborn, families of up to 4, confidence portraits, birthdays & milestones, pet portraits, & more. Whether you’re celebrating something special or you're simply wanting beautiful keepsakes to remember this season of your life, my Magic in the Mundane Sessions are all about capturing you & yours naturally & comfortably!
Retainer & Payment Schedule
A 25% retainer is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 24 hours prior to the photoshoot.

The Magic Hour — $300
60 minutes · All session types
Think my signature session, but with a little extra breathing room! Couples, maternity, newborn, families of more than 4, confidence portraits, birthdays & milestones, pet portraits, & more. The Magic Hour is perfect for those who think they may need a little extra time during our session together. Maybe you would like to change outfits, use two locations instead of one, rent a studio, or you're hoping for a few more edited returns! The Magic Hour is thoughtfully crafted to capture your story authentically & comfortably.

Why Should You Choose Gwen?
I am NOT the photographer who will ask you, your partner, or your kiddos to stand still & stare at me with a fake smile for the entirety of the session.
Do the kiddos want to run around & play in the dirt? GREAT! I'll sit near them & photograph them as they do it. Maybe they don't want to look at my camera at all, they just want to be cuddled by Mom & Dad or explore our location; AMAZING! Gwen will gently follow them like their own personal mini paparazzi.
Maybe your little one is having a hard time; they are fussy, red-faced, & crying - & now you are sweating, anxious, & flustered. Guess what? I'm a Mom, too. My own kids are probably back home doing the same thing to their Dad. It's okay, & it will be okay. I will still get absolutely beautiful shots, even if it feels a little chaotic during our session.
Maybe your partner is a bit nervous to be in front of a camera gal; they've never done this before. That is totally fine! The anticipation typically is the most anxiety-causing part. But, as we hang out during your session, I hope that you forget what we are doing. That you are able to enjoy the moment with the love of your life, with a fly-on-the-wall photographer gently guiding & photographing it. (Yes, I will gently guide you into some cuddly yet you poses to get our beautiful shots!)
My goal? To capture the real, raw pieces of your story in a way that feels laidback, fun, yet totally you. I want to document you & yours beautifully, just as you are RIGHT NOW. No stiff poses or chasing perfection here - just real smiles, playing in the dirt, the little details, & aiming to make you feel comfortable the entire time I am photographing you!
I want to note that I am not a photographer who simply slaps a one-size-fits-all filter on every single one of your photos & then returns them as fast as I possibly can. I am an artist; each photo I return to you is hand-edited by me. I pride myself on working to maintain a photo's authenticity, yet removing anything that may be distracting to the viewer, such as a bug, a dead leaf, a trash can, etc.
